Nestled in nature up on a beautiful mountain, this hotel is a perfect escape for skiers and those looking for a serene getaway. the traditional Japanese rooms offer a cozy and comfortable stay with a stunning view of the mountains. the baths are a highlight, with an indoor and outdoor option and picturesque views of the snow-covered forest. the buffet breakfast offers various options to satisfy any taste.

Although the hotel's location on the mountain provides picturesque views, it can be difficult to access during the winter without a vehicle equipped with snow tires and four-wheel drive.

Great Onsen and Scenic views

The onsen was incredible with its partial open air while it snowed. The scenic views of the snowy forest and mountains made it even more special. The location, up on a mountain, added to the experience and coziness. The shuttle service provided by the hotel was helpful.

The hotel didn't offer much in terms of activities, making it less ideal for longer stays. , the lack of a private shower in the room made it necessary to shower in the onsen.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the great views of the snowy forest and mountains from the hot tub. We also loved the traditional Japanese rooms and futons which added to our experience. the hotel's location, although isolated, was perfect for back-country skiing and hiking. We appreciated the buffet breakfast and dinner options as it made meal times much more convenient.

Cozy vibe, comfortable futons, delicious meals, stunning mountain views, excellent onsen, easy access to Fukiage Onsen.

Can't fault the property in any way.

Up on a mountain with serene surroundings, I enjoyed the amazing views of the snowy forest and mountains from the wooden onsen that also has a sauna. The traditional Japanese room had cozy and comfortable bedding. The breakfast had many hot and continental options, and friendly staff accommodated my dietary requirements. The hotel also had a coin laundry and dry room for ski gear.
